To offer a place of serenity to their guests, while pushing them to entangle themselves with the sea, and nature taking them into a journey of a slow experience into full relaxation and mindfulness.
Stepping out from the definition of lux- we redefine luxury and translate it to invaluable notions, - time, counted in moments - comfort, counted in slowness and - services, counted in experiences.
OUR VISION
Aegean Stories’ name derives from a place of exploration.
We wish our guests to read our stories while at the same time to write their own Aegean stories. While addressing an audience for whom the sun and sea are rare luxuries, we want them to experience the place not as visitors but as true locals, forging a deep connection with both our brand and the destination.

Nestled on the northern part of the enchanting island of Samos, the birthplace of Christos' mother, lies a hidden gem—Avlakia. This serene corner of the world is not just a favorite vacation spot for Maria and Christos, but a place filled with warm childhood memories for Christos, where he spent countless summers exploring the island’s beauty. It was here, surrounded by the timeless charm of the island, that their dream began to take shape.
"We are passionate travelers, explorers, and lovers of hospitality," says Maria. "For many years, Avlakia was our favorite getaway, but we couldn’t help but notice that something was missing—a cozy boutique hotel offering the kind of comfort and elegance we sought during our travels. So, we decided to create one ourselves.”
and that’s how Aegean Stories Pelagos Suites was born.
In 2021, we placed the first brick, and after years of careful design, construction and challenges, we finally proudly opened our doors to welcome our first guests in May 2024.
The building itself tells a story—each piece, each detail, was carefully chosen to be meaningful and authentic. From the warmth of the materials to the thoughtful design, we’ve created a space where history, island life, and modern comforts meet in perfect harmony.
Creating this dream wasn’t without its challenges, but every obstacle added a new chapter to our adventure. Today, we’re proud to invite you to share in the magic of Avlakia with us, where our passion for travel, mindfulness, sustainability, and genuine care for our guests come together to create unforgettable memories.
